Samuel Boyd

From 1840 - 1890 Samuel Boyd shaped Marlborough into a city and became known as the father or our city.  He was a pioneering shoe manufacturer, a banker, and an entrepreneur.

Bob Kane, Society Curator, gave this presentation at the Marlborough Historical Society program on January 24, 2012.  The program was recorded by Marlborough's local cable channel.
